Unemployment rate, %

Unemployed persons are defined as the percentage of active population constituted by persons aged 15 to 74 who: are without work; are available to start work within the next two weeks; and have actively sought employment at some time during the previous four weeks.

Data is collected from the Labour Force Survey (LFS) which adopted a new methodology from 2021 onwards, leading to a break in time series. For more details, see this article.

Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP). The index reflects the change in general price development between the current month and the same month of the previous year. Data are neither seasonally nor calendar adjusted.
